The Honeymoon... part 2

As much as we would have loved to spend the entire week at Disneyland... we decided to slowly transition from the magical world where dreams are made to the land where every day adventures are had...

...however in the transition... we decided to use some of our adventure gifts and the Disney gift card to upgrade our tickets to Disney yearly passes so that we can keep the magic alive by going regularly.  Feel free to join us for a day at Disney if you are visiting Southern California!

On Wednesday, after spending the day at the parks and having a late lunch at the renowned "Blue Bayou" we made the trek over to Lake Elsinore to "our" house to unpack and repack before heading to San Diego on Thursday.

As far as adventures go... some of our favorites are just the day to day times where we get to spend time together.  Thursday we checked into our hotel and got upgraded to a suite with a fireplace and whirlpool!  Then set out to use some of our adventure gifts for dinner at PeiWei and shopping at Macy's!

Friday we headed to Balboa Park to use our membership there to check out a few of the museums and exhibits.... then headed to Gaslamp District for an early dinner at one of our favorite BBQ places.

By this point in the week... we were glad to have some down time to just rest and enjoy each other's company!  As the week is now winding down and we each head back to work tomorrow we are beyond blessed to be doing this adventure called life together!! <3

The Honeymoon... part 1

More than a month ago... as we were discussing plans for the wedding and our honeymoon... Justin made mention that instead of doing a "weeklong" honeymoon after the wedding ... that we should do a "lifelong" honeymoon filled with all of the adventures that we desire to do.

This life long honeymoon fits our relationship as we just desire to spend each moment together sharing all that life has to offer through the day to day adventures called life.

However it does make it a bit more difficult to document because there will come a day that "part #" merges into just an everyday adventure...  but for the time being we will share some of our adventures after the wedding!

The Magical Day

Monday, October 24th, 2016...  Justin awoke at 5:30am to the sound of thunder rattling the windows of the hotel room.  Rain was pouring down... and that seed of panic set in as the outside wedding that was planned in a few hours may have to be moved.

7:30am... Angela awoke at 7:30am to the sound of her phone going off with the wedding coordinator and photographer asking if the wedding was going to be outside or inside.

8:00am... The clouds started to part just a bit to provide hope that we would be able to have our magical dream wedding out in the adventure gazebo.

9:00am - 11:00am... Angela's is with Genna getting her hair and makeup done while Justin, Joe, and Lori are bustling around getting everything set up and ready to go for the reception.  Sarah, the photographer, comes in after checking out the wedding sight to show a few shots of the beautiful day it is turning out to be.

11:00am - noon... Parents, family, and friends show up to put the final touches on the day and settle in to watch Justin and Angela say I do!

12:00noon... Canon in D starts playing and Angela escorted by her father start their walk down the aisle.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful day surrounded by a few close friends and our families to share as we start this adventure together as husband and wife!  We knew each person there and were able to spend quality time with each during the day of the wedding which means a lot to us!

Showers of Blessings

It is times like this that make us realize how blessed we are to have special people in our lives.  They remind us of how great humanity can be!

We have been extremely blessed by the friends and family in our lives that have showered us with love, kind words, and gifts.  Many of you have respected our requests for the "choose your own adventure" and have given us numerous ideas and even the resources to follow through on the adventures.

Someone we ran into a few weeks ago told us when he found out we were getting married... that there are a lot of blessings that come with marriage... and we truly couldn't agree more!  People (even random strangers) have blessed us with kind words and gifts over the past week as we have been celebrating our marriage.

So with all of that said... we just want to say thank you for showering us with some awesome blessings as we start this new life together as husband and wife!  You make these adventures possible!

The Official Announcement...

In this entire process of two becoming one... we have learned that between the two of us... we have thousands of friends and family that live all over the world and with the venue allowing 18 guest plus us... we just weren't able to invite everyone we know and love to celebrate our wedding day!!!

There are so many of you that have been apart of our lives, loving us along the way... so we wanted to announce our newest adventure of getting married ... and invite you to join us in our adventure called life together.

As much as we would love to announce our wedding to the world... after making 200 paper announcements by hand... we decided we would use the digital age that we live in to assist in getting the official word out...

SO here it is!!!

If you are in Southern California... we would love for you to go on some adventures with us.  On Tuesday, October 25th and Wednesday, October 26th we will be enjoying Disneyland and California Adventure Park... then on Thursday and Friday we will be in San Diego and would love to see you at the SD Zoo or Balboa Park!!!

Less than 10 days away... and we can't wait!!!
