Time well spent

The last 3 weeks have been a blur of activity... and moving at a much slower pace than I am used to. This little guy has been sleep training us for quite a while and the sleeping in two hour increments is definitely preparing me to be up feeding around the clock. It is however making it difficult to get up at 5am... commute an hour and a half to work... work an 8 hour day... commute home
.. and then try to get dinner on the table... and time to sit down to work on my admin classes without dozing.
I am being forced to take a few more breaks to lick my feet up and Gandalf definitely assists in holding me down! LOL!

As for Drs appointments, we are currently at 2-3 per week. Lots of time sitting... getting checked to make sure little guy is doing well.

The CCCLH and CCP shower

Due to everything going on... I am a bit behind on blogging.... so as long as my eyes stay open a bit longer we will try to catch up on the last 3 weeks or so...

On October 13th, the church/school where I spend most of my days had a shower to bless little guy... and boy were we blessed by those that came to the shower and those that sent well wishes.

Also this particular weekend happened to cool off a great deal hence the long sleeves and boots and it rained! This has not happened in quite a whole and even though it caused us to cancel our maternity shoot it made for very comfortable weather!

After the shower I was starting to have more BH contractions and was exhausted. We headed the hour + home where my darling man unloaded the car and brought everything into the house. If growing a small human has taught me anything... you need a good partner by yourside that is willing to hang out with a bunch of ladies he really doesn't know and one that sees there is a need before it is even spoken! I have an absolutely amazing partner by my side that has made this entire experience very memorable!

Little guy's 1st adventure themed shower

A week ago (September 29th) ... the Lawsons threw us a baby shower at their home in Claremont
to celebrate the upcoming arrival of little guy. It was a couples shower and there were about 15 people in attendance to help us celebrate ( and name and set ambitions for little guy!)

Thank you to all who came and sent gifts for little guy. We were extremely blessed.

Eek... 6 and a half weeks

Time is flying and within just a few short weeks I will be taking some time off work and really preparing for little guys arrival.   I can't believe how quickly the last 33 weeks have flown yet how long some of the nights have felt.

We have determined that the last 6 months or so little guy has been sleep training us. Unfortunately everytime i get up to use the bathroom or just wander around the house on restless legs... my darling adventure buddy also awakes to make sure I am ok. The last couple of weeks with me being up most of the night not being able to breathe really have not been fun and have left 2 very tired people.

At this point I am realizing my body gets out of breath just by climbing a few steps to our second floor... I am waddling a bit as the hips relax causing immense pain... and almost every night my darling man massages my back as little guy headbutts the nerves in my lower back.  On the hormonal level... I am limited to cooking shows and home remodel shows as everything else brings about tears. With the loss of my grandma this past weekend and Justin's grandma a couple of weeks ago the tears have been inevitable at times but SERIOUSLY seeing a simple commercial on TV or an ad on FB... that shouldn't cause waterworks?

After being sick for a couple of weeks and losing a few pounds... I have gained those back but still staying where I was before I got sick.  I am feeling very large and feel like a beached whale every time I try to tun over.
