7 Months

June 24th, 2019.... 7 months old

First trip to Sea World to see fish while daddy was at a conference

Learning how to drink out of a cup... still prefer a bottle and mommy milkies!

I look so sweet when I am sleeping!

I love being outside and going 0n adventires.

I stayed at my first resort... it was so cool. A stream ran behind our room. We stayed for 4 nights while daddy attended a conference.

I went to the San Diego zoo.

 I am rolling to get what I want. Not crawling yet but soon.

 Learning how to feed myself but love playing with my food.

 

played on the swing and with a ball on the grass for the first time. Not sure what to think of the swing... but love playing ball.

Love climbing and trying to figure out how to balance on two legs.

Celebrated daddy's first fathers day!

Also celebrated daddy's NEEMA graduation. So proud of him!

Crawling lessons with mommy. Wish she wouldn't put my toys so far away during tummy time. 

Look how much i have grown. My buddy Andrews grandpa made this for me!

Mommy officially retired to be home with me full time.

My last day with Mrs. Caiti and her girls. I had so much fun spending my days with them while mommy worked.

8 months

July 24th, 2019... mommy's 40th bday and I am 8 months old.

In some ways not much had changed and in other ways I have grown a lot.

 Went to sea world for the 2nd time with mommy's coworkers. Loved the dolphin show. Mrs. Lori taught me how to clap my hands. I still love watching the animals and being around people.

I love food! I get really frustrated with mommy trying to feed me purees. I just want to feed myself... even if it is a mess to clean up... I am learning.  

Mommy is now home with me full time

.. we go on lots of fun adventures... we went to the farmers market and met an alpaca farmer

 Alpaca fur is really soft.

 

I earned my wings this month

... first flight to NC and my first tooth popped through the day of the flight. I fussed the entire way to the airport but was great at the airport and slept the majority of the flight

I got to meet my uncle Jated and Aunt Laura for the first time. 

I got to play with my friends Grace and Luke
 Also from CA visiting family in NC. Our mommies have been friends for almost 35 years.

I got to meet my Great Uncle Jim. 

And loved spending time with Grampa and Oma Calhoun

I saw my first fireworks at the Burlington City Park on July 3rd.

And we spent a week on the road driving down the outer banks.

Still loving to eat and boy do I get into my food.

Went to a playdate at the splash pad near our house. Can't wait to run though the water.

I am eating lots of foods... pancakes... French toast...  oatmeal... cheerios... eggs....bananas... apples... strawberries.... blueberries... peaches... squash... cucumber... carrots.... peas... olives...mushrooms...pasta...  peanut butter sandwiches and grilled cheese sandwiches....

I LOVE TO FEED MYSELF!

I have also learned to crawl... even though I would rather be walking.

I still love snuggles with mommy... when I can hold still long enough. I am normally a wiggle bug.

I fed the birds at Sylvan Heights bird park

And giraffes at the Asheboro zoo

I started my own national park passport and got an entire section filled 

I am one happy little guy that enjoys being outside and the water. Still have fear of missing out but love being around people.
