Little dude 2... 4 months

August 16th, 2020

Today marks Paxton's 4 month birthday

... it also is the beginning of month 6 under the stay at home order due to the world wide pandemic. We are all doing our best to stay content at home and stay healthy! (Also mommy is still waiting for hospitals to open for non-critical surgeries so that her evil gallbladder can be evicted!)

Stats... 17 lbs and 25 inches long at his 4 month appoint which was a couple of weeks delayed.

Everybody including the cat love to snuggle with him!

Not a  huge fan of being on his tummy on the floor but we still try daily tummy time.

Most days he is a really good sleeper... 5-7 hours ...wakes up to nurse and then goes right back to sleep for a couple more hours in our bed.

During the day he takes a solid 2 -3  hour nap and a couple of cat naps! 

Momma turned 41 and brother  20 months old on the 24th of July. The boys made it super special by a weekend of at home celebrations. 

Mommy spends a couple of hours each day trying to work her small business but it normally means at least one little is attached.

D does a good job entertaining brother.

 We also got a new backyard

.. outdoors living space this month so we spend most mornings and evenings outside.

He is super interested in watching us eat. He has tried rice cereal a couple of times

Daddy took a couple of days off an we went to downtown disney for lunch.   Nice break

Little dude 2... week 11

July 2nd, 2020

It is week 11 and my true personality is really beginning to show. I love to wiggle and giggle. 

I spend a lot of my day observing the world around me! Most days I take 3 naps... 2 short ones and 1 longer one but I am sleeping 5-6 hours at a time at night!

I still prefer to nap on momma but I sleep independently at night so momma doesn't  seem to mind.

My brother is getting much better at holding me. There have been a couple of times he has attempted to pick me up on a couple of occasions! 

Sleeping on momma forces her to put her feet up occasionally! 

Love getting to stay up with momma and daddy at night. I reward them with lots of smiles!

I have done a really good job of growing... I had my 2 month appt this week... yeah I know it is a couple weeks late but due to this covid stuff that was the earliest appt momma could get for us! I am 13 pounds 3 ounces and inches in length! Filling out my 0-3 month clothes and almost out of size 1 diapers.  I also started my vaccinations! These are my battle scars for the week.
