Little dude 2.... week 9

Just over 2 months old
... doing well sleeping 4-5 hours without waking mommy at night to eat.
Some days I take better naps than others. Lately brother and I tag team to wake each other up. Mommy is not a huge fan of that.

With more things opening... I have been able to go out a bit more.  We went to home depot the other night for some things around the house.

I am becoming a lot more expressive with giggling and talking!

Still live snuggling with mommy and not happy if she puts me down.  Good thing she can run her business with me atrached.

Brother loves to give me hugs and kisses.

After brother goes to bed I get to explore the toys on the floor and do some tummy timr.

This is the outfit that D came home from the hospital in... I am now able wear it.

I am doing better with the head and neck control. I want to be up and about. Love time in my high chair and bouncet.

Little dude 2. Week 8

June 11, 2020
This week it has been almost 100 degrees... lots of summer outfits! I was even able to wear my stylish beach shoes before I outgrow them!

On Friday, we went on a family outing to look for mommy a she shed. She is going to have her own space outside to watch us play since her current office/craft room is going to become the guest bedroom.
We also celebrated National Donut Day by stopping by Krispy Kreme and letting brother try one. I am not a big fan of hearing that I cant have yet... because I dont have teeth. When do those come in? Brother is so ready to share with me!

I love snuggles with daddy when mommy puts Brother to sleep at night... some nights I am really good about putting daddy to sleep!
This momento came in the mail this week from one of mommy's friends at bible study.

After several weeks of colic ... mommy and daddy are figuring out what makes me content. I so love my family!

Mommy has been putting me down on the floor to explore. Some days I am ok with it... other days I let the world know I am not happy being put down.  It does make it a lot easier when brother is with me!

I helped mommy with a manicure this week so she got some self care time while snuggling her sweet P.

I did manage to sleep a bit more than 5 hours one night this week. It was short lived as the next night I was up every 2 hours!
But aren't I cute when I am sleeping in my sock monkey pajamas?

Little dude 2... week 7

I'm back! It is my turn to pick up where mommy left off and tell my side of the story. This week... mommy and brother have been doing more activities. One might after dinner, they made rice crispy treats. We decided to share some with the neighbors. While we safely social distanced on the porch, Ms. Wendy took our picture. What do you think of my first family photo? Ms. Wendy and her daughter dropped this off the next afternoon! I love it and I love our neighbors!

Mommy hasn't gotten much done this week as every time she goes to do something... I fuss. I just want snuggles. And everytime she holds me... brother fusses!

I am starting to make more faces especially when people make faces at me!

I am sleeping 4 hours stints at night getting up between 2 and 3 to eat.

This is where I map so that mommy can rest and I dont wake up brother.  Mommy really likes it when brother and my naps coincide.
So I am really not sure who this "child" is but I really am not a huge fan of dressing up like him.  It made it a bit better in the arms of my brother. I dont think he knows who the child is either.

Wondering if I am growing again as momma sure has a lot of picts of me sleeping!

I feel like some days I belong in a zoo with all of the animals around me!

This week marked the point where I got my own high chair to sit up at the big people table. I have been asking for a while as I felt left out...I fuss every night as soon as mommy sits down to eat
Now in my high chair I  content to watch everyone eat.
On to another week of growing and  traveling on this adventure through life!

Little dude 2... week 6 as told by mommy

Mommy is taking over this post from her perspective! It is week 6 of our family of 4 and this momma's heart is so overwhelmed by blessings as I watch these two boys grow and interact more together
 Such an absolute delight.

I have been spending more time on marketplace looking for a few things as well as getting rid of extras around the house. One of my finds this week was a monkey themed baby swing to put Pax in as he constantly wants to be held and moving. The two boys tag team to wake each other up and the swing helps keep at least one of them content a bit longer.

D is learning to give hugs and kisses and loves snuggling with his brother. He is a great big brother just doesn't know his own strength so "gentle" is a common word around our house at the moment.

Pax is a very snuggly little guy and it absolutely melts my heart when his little smile lights up his face.
At this moment he has great head and neck control. He really tries to propel himself forward when doing tummy time.

He is very alert most of the day. He enjoys looking at himself in the mirror. At night he still is up at least once to eat and loves yo sleepin the recliner with us as a body pillow.

We are currently in size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothes.  Keep on growing my sweet little boy.
