Our First Christmas as Husband and Wife

Our first Christmas as husband and wife ...

was one filled with joy... memories... a lot of firsts... friends... and fun times!  In the days leading up to Christmas... we sent out Christmas cards and gifts... decorated... went light looking... created a festive environment within our home... spent time with friends...and many evenings making holiday memories and setting new traditions for our family!  

Christmas Eve was spent at Mom and Dad Czerniak's enjoying a festive meal of seafood and exchanging gifts.  Christmas morning brought a laid back breakfast toasting our first Christmas together and enjoying each other's company... exchanging gifts... and planning our year ahead.  Dinner was garlic encrusted prime rib... mashed potatoes made in the crock pot... and asparagus.  Love sharing the kitchen with each other!  Both of us enjoy cooking which means meal prep is always fun!  

We so enjoyed receiving cards and updates from friends and family around the globe.  We love hearing how you and your family are doing and all of the adventures you have shared for the past year.  It inspires us to find new places to explore!

After Christmas, we had the week off to get decorations cleaned up and organize the downstairs space of the house!  It was also a time to create new decor for our house using new finds... wedding leftovers... and pieces that were sitting empty around the house!
