It has been another week under the stay at home order. It has been almost a month since I was welcomed into this world with open arms. This week I really like being in my mommy's arms.
She would say she hasn't gotten much done as all I want to do is nurse and be held but in my mind that is of utmost importance. I am only little for a small bit of time, right? She can sleep later!
As long as I am with my mommy I am happy as a little bug in a rug. I love to observe the world around me and I love when I am talked to and sung to.
I am finally up past my birth weight ... only took me 3 and a half weeks but now I am on a roll. By wednesday of this week I was at 8 lbs 13 oz. Way to grow!
Mommy has been trying to spend more active time with my brother when I go down for a nap. This week they planted plumeria cuttings, made moon dough, spend some time coloring, and played with new Lego sets. Daddy also got use new activity tables for downstairs and in our play room! I have a little time before I can use them to but soon!
I am getting better at sleeping 4 hour stretches at night even if it means sleeping on someone!
Mommy had to pull out the 0-3 month clothes and we started on size 1 diapers as we ran out of newborn. My newborn clothes are starting to get a little snug as I am growing! Mommy was sad to be packing away newborn clothes for the final time to get rid of. As much as she wanted me to grow I think it makes her sad to know I dont stay little very long!
We are dreaming of adventures once this stay at home order comes to an end. Had to wear my Disney outfit at least once before I outgrow it. Mommy's one request for mothers day was an IOU for a day date to Downtown Disney when they reopen! We also got mommy flowers to celebrate!
Hopefully this will be the last week of drs appointments. I was given several meds this week for thrush and I also was circumcised. As much as I love my dr... I am ready to not see her twice a week for a while!
